Well, the 11th of November came and went just like any other days. Except for all the birthday wishes that I received in Facebook and phone and everything. It was great that so many people remembered. But overall, it was just mundane. Nothing really special. And that's good too. I'm a simple girl, I enjoy simple things. :)
Just a quick recap ...
In the morning :
Had to wake up damn early to teach yoga because the other yoga instructor went on vacation. (Yes, birthday girl needs to work too. Pity?) After that, nothing much happened. Went breakfast with parents.
In the afternoon :
Last paper. Today marks the end of school days. It's officially the holidays. Damn excited and happy about that!
In the evening :
5pm- Went out with a guy, Sam.
He's so damn nice I could just eat him up. But I was the one who treated him. Yes, the birthday girl still needed to waste money on him and treated him a FULL meal. But it was all good. He wanted to bring me out again at night. So, that was OK.
At night :
7pm- Joseph came to my shop. Gave me a box of Ferrero Rocher for my birthday. Thoughtful of him. Chit-chatted for a while. He's really a good guy.
7.30pm- "M" handed me a cake and a letter. OK. That was nice of him.
8pm- Went out with Sam again. Get this, he gave me a SLICE of cake. (LOL. Maybe he thinks I'm too fat or whatnot.) But it was good. Drove around town, talked and all. No present.. I was fine with that. Because he's really nice. I don't expect anything from him.
9pm- Dinner with parents. Ironically, saw Sam AGAIN in the same hotel. That was such a
freaky coincidence.
10pm- Girl friends went to shop and gave me a surprise birthday party. Gee, I really had no idea. Cake was really nice.. I loved it.
Special moments :Eric called me from London. And we talked for like, 15 minutes. He's really such a good friend. Love him to bits! Ha!
In Sam's car. That says enough :)
Girlfriends really gave me a shock! That was really a surprise and I love them to death...
The 3 pages of birthday wishes that I received in Facebook. Can't believe that!
Overall, it was good.
Turning 18 won't really change me. All it means is that I'm a young adult. I'm glad everything turned out OK. I mean, I received 4 cakes altogether. That was such a cool experience. I've never received so many different types of cake in my life. *_*
But I just realized that it's not about the presents you receive, it's about the company. Who you're with. That's what makes it special. Not the surprises or the cakes or the whatever. It's about the people. That's just me anyways.
Well, I'm beat. Thanks for everything. I love you guys...honestly.
Just a lil' somethin' somethin'. Not many pictures. I guess the picture-taking thing gets old eventually. xD

Seriously, don't ask about this. *_*
Cheers~
